Consulting services:

These services are provided solely by George Mamuric. George has extensive experience with Tekla Structures software (Xsteel), business mgmt., international fabrication practices, and international construction services. Specifically, George’s expertise lies in the US, SE Asia and Arabian Peninsula. George posses extensive knowledge in engineering theory, but also and most importantly, he has first hand knowledge of practical applications with a global perspective. George has been a key player in construction teams dedicated to artistic concept, practical design, and practical fabrication concepts (we can imagine it, draw it, build it).

Dependent upon your scope/environment; we can assign George to assist in establishing your Tekla Structures system, training your personnel, integrating your machinery and/or other software programs for data transfer, and advising on work flow schemas and formats.

Regardless of your customer base we can setup environment files that will allow seamless integration of your business practices into the requirements of your customer. You can operate in the most efficient manner possibly and still supply your customer with the requirements they desire.

Our training of personnel for the use of Tekla Structures is custom suited to your needs, and ranges from basic to advanced including: custom components, template editing, scripting, UI customization, and advanced data manipulation.

Our machine and software integration assistance can help you to effectively communicate with your MRP, MIS, and CNC systems, regardless of the file formats you are dealing with. We have experience with FabTrol, Steel 2000, Excel, Access, and others. We can also provide training to your shop personnel with regards to the globally standard DSTV file format, taking the magic and mystery out of those abbreviations and ciphers so that your operators know what they are looking at when the necessity arises.

Many times after the initial purchase of Tekla Structures new users struggle with fitting it into their system. The options here are vast and run the gamut from recreating your entire "Way Of Working" to just "taking what you can get". We can help; not only in making the decision of how far to go, but implementing that plan once your level of comfort has been decided.

As an additional service, we will soon also be able to store your BIM based construction projects. Within the next few months, and entirely due to the efforts and skills of Joseph Pascua, GE. (Geek Extraordinaire) we will have the ability to store your projects on a globally accessible server. Your data will be accessible to any and all interested parties based on their need and YOUR authorization. If you want to order bolts, have your fastener supplier log in and create a "required bolts" report ... have your paint supplier log in and get a "surface area" report so he'll know exactly how much paint you want/need ... have your welding products supplier create a "weld length" report to determine how many welding rods to supply. The possibilities are endless ... BIMSTORAGE.COM

Shop Drawings & Connection Design:

If you require hard assistance in the Design Drawing/Detailing Drawings arena we have an IN HOUSE staff of 6 Detailers that provide "fabricate-able" shop drawings. (small yes, but as you know it is not easy to find proper Detailers these days.) Due to our length and location of experiences we can also design efficient connections for your project. Although we could not possibly hold licenses in all the markets we deal in, we do provide formulaic results to be presented to your EOR for approval and sealing.

The majority of our customers simply send us their Design Drawings and we work within their budget, saving a large amount of time and energy, and you are more than welcome to get us started on your projects this way. However, if you are not completely comfortable with that, we are happy to provide you with a "Lump Sum Bid Price" if you send us the Design Drawings and Specifications of your project. We have a specific FTP site for just such occasions. Use your favorite FTP client software to connect to "thesteeldetailers.com", and once there log in using "jggguest" as the USERNAME and "Guest01" as the PASSWORD. It would also be a good idea to send us an email letting us know that you've posted (we're pretty good but some times the voices in our heads make it difficult to get those telepathic messages). We can be reached at info@jggsteeldetailers.com.

Our experience goes back to the early 90's (draw with lead, erase with rubber) and has advanced to Tekla 3D models that can store ANY information that is important to you .... creators name, delivery date, mother-in-laws birthday, or the next scheduled maintenance date .... we can store it, act upon it, and visualize it for you.
We've seen a lot, made many mistakes, and tried scores of improvements. Use that experience to your benefit, don't make the same mistakes we have already made. Call us, it won't hurt that bad, and will cost you a lot less in the long run.
